Privacy Policy — Poker TD Assistant
Last updated: July 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the World Poker Federation (“WPF”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Poker TD Assistant application (the “App”). The App is operated by the World Poker Federation, based in Brazil. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
The App is designed to work without requiring you to create an account. In the current version, we collect:
• Device identifier (device_id): a random, anonymous identifier generated and stored on your device. It lets us link your conversation history to your device without requiring a name, email, or login.
• Conversation content: the questions you submit and the answers the App returns. This is stored so you can review your past sessions in the History screen.
• Voice input (only when you use the microphone): if you ask a question by voice, the App records the audio and sends it to our transcription provider (OpenAI) to convert it into text. The transcribed text becomes your question. We do not store the audio recording; only the resulting text is kept as part of your conversation content.
• Feedback: ratings and written feedback you choose to send. This may include a thumbs-up or thumbs-down on an answer, a star rating and category, a written message, and an optional email address you provide so we can reply. When you send feedback about a specific answer, the related question and answer are included so we can understand the context.
• Push notifications: if you enable notifications, our notification provider (OneSignal) registers a notification identifier for your device and collects related technical information (such as device model, operating system, app version, language, time zone, IP address, and basic usage such as session activity) in order to deliver announcements to you.
We do not collect your name, contacts, or precise location. We collect an email address only if you choose to provide one in the feedback form.
When account features become available in a future version, we may also collect, with your consent: name, email address, country of residence, communication preferences, and other profile information you choose to provide. This policy will be updated before any such collection begins.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information above to:
• Provide the App’s core features and generate answers to your questions
• Convert your voice input into text when you use the microphone
• Keep your conversation history available across sessions on your device
• Deliver push notifications and in-app announcements when you have enabled notifications
• Respond to your feedback, including contacting you if you provided an email address
• Analyze questions, answers, and feedback in aggregate to improve the accuracy and quality of the App
• Communicate with you only where you have given consent (future account features)
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or to track you across other apps or websites.
3. How Your Information Is Shared (Third-Party Services)
To operate, the App relies on the following service providers, which process data on our behalf:
• Supabase — database and backend infrastructure (stores your conversation history and feedback)
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI model used to generate answers (receives your questions)
• OpenAI — transcription of voice input and text embeddings/translation (receives your voice audio and/or question text)
• OneSignal — push notification delivery (receives a device notification identifier and related device, usage, and IP information to deliver notifications)
• Vercel — application hosting and delivery
Each provider processes data only to deliver its part of the service and is subject to its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them. We do not share your information with any other parties except where required by law.
4. International Data Transfers
Some of our providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, OneSignal, Vercel, and Supabase) operate servers outside your country, including in the United States. By using the App, you understand that your information may be processed in countries whose data-protection laws may differ from those of your own. We take reasonable steps to ensure your information remains protected wherever it is processed.
5. Data Storage and Security
Conversation content and feedback are stored on secure servers provided by Supabase. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, or loss. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
• Conversation content is retained until you delete it using the History screen in the App.
• Feedback you submit is retained to help us understand and improve the App.
• The anonymous device identifier remains while you continue to use the App.
• Voice audio is not retained after transcription; only the resulting text is kept.
• When account features are introduced, you will be able to request deletion of all data associated with your account.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live (including under Brazil’s LGPD and the EU’s GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Because the current version uses an anonymous device identifier and no account, please include enough information to help us identify the relevant data when you contact us. You can turn off push notifications at any time in the App’s settings or in your device settings. To exercise any of these rights, email info@worldpokerfederation.org.
8. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above, and significant changes will be reflected in the App or on this page. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
