The International Mind Sports Association (IMSA) unanimously welcomed the World Poker Federation (WPF) into its esteemed ranks in December 2022. This recognition places poker alongside distinguished games like chess, bridge, eSports, and more.

Leading the charge at WPF is President Igor Trafane, a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in the poker industry. Prior to his role at WPF, Igor served as the President of the Brazilian Federation of Texas Hold’em (CBTH).
