About CBTH
Founded in January 2009, CBTH represents Texas Hold’em and all poker variants, including Omaha, Stud, Razz, Mixed Games, and others. Its core mission is to:
Advocate for the recognition of poker in Brazil as a legitimate and skill-based activity, fostering abilities such as mathematics, statistics, discipline, emotional control, competitiveness, reasoning, and sociability.
Organize and promote poker tournaments and championships nationwide while encouraging social, educational, and cultural engagement among players.
Elevate and expand the reach of sports poker, reinforcing its positive image and credibility.
Represent Brazilian poker on national and international platforms as its leading governing body.
