Taking place from January 24th to February 7th, 2024, the KSOP GGPoker South America will be the newest event on the Latin American poker circuit. With R$35 million guaranteed in prizes, the event promises to be gigantic, bringing together the main names in South American poker.
The festival was recently announced by Felipe Mojave, ambassador for GGPoker Brasil. According to information, the emotions will take place at the Rio Centro Convention & Event Center, a hotel located in Barra da Tijuca (RJ). Over the course of 15 days, players will be able to face each other in more than 70 tournaments of the most diverse formats and buy-in ranges.
Among the highlights of the program are, obviously, the Main Event and also a tournament with entry fees of US$100,000. While the Main Event will have R$10 million guaranteed, paying at least R$2 million to the champion, the tournament with the highest value on the grid will become the most expensive ever held in the history of Brazil.
“It is an immense joy to be able to hold an event of this magnitude in Brazil. We want our country to become a host for players from all over the world and the R$100,000 tournament will be a unique moment”, said Mojave. “And of course I am already confirmed”, assured the GGPoker ambassador.
For those interested in participating in the party, a cost-saving option is satellites. From November 5th, packages with Main Event buy-in and accommodation for the 15 days of KSOP GGPoker South America will be up for grabs at GGPoker’s virtual tables.
