On December 1st, 2025, the World Poker Federation (WPF), the Tournament Directors Association (TDA), and Brazil’s Associação de Diretores de Torneios de Poker (ADTP), in partnership with the Confederação Brasileira de Texas Hold’em (CBTH), hosted the TDA + WPF + ADTP Continental Summit: Latin America Edition in São Paulo, Brazil.
Bringing together the voices and expertise of more than 200 professionals, the Summit celebrated the people who shape the game every day. It reaffirmed the strength of a region that has become a global reference in tournament structure, rule development, and professional standards.
This gathering marked a collective step forward for poker’s evolution, strengthening the alignment between institutions, enhancing the exchange of knowledge among leaders, and reinforcing a shared commitment to a unified and increasingly professional global poker ecosystem.

Brazil’s ADTP was created to guide tournament directors and organizers on the correct interpretation and application of poker rules. Its mission is to provide education, guidance, and a reliable reference for professionals in the game.
CBTH is the national federation representing poker as a mind sport in Brazil. It works to promote, organize, and regulate official competitions, while supporting the growth and professionalization of the game across the country.
