On December 1st, 2025, the World Poker Federation (WPF), the Tournament Directors Association (TDA), and Brazil’s Associação de Diretores de Torneios de Poker (ADTP), in partnership with the Confederação Brasileira de Texas Hold’em (CBTH), hosted the TDA + WPF + ADTP Continental Summit: Latin America Edition in São Paulo, Brazil.

Bringing together the voices and expertise of more than 200 professionals, the Summit celebrated the people who shape the game every day. It reaffirmed the strength of a region that has become a global reference in tournament structure, rule development, and professional standards.

This gathering marked a collective step forward for poker’s evolution, strengthening the alignment between institutions, enhancing the exchange of knowledge among leaders, and reinforcing a shared commitment to a unified and increasingly professional global poker ecosystem.

Founded in 2001, the Tournament Directors Association (TDA) is the global authority on poker tournament rules. With over 4,000 members across 65 countries, the TDA brings consistency, fairness, and professionalism to live poker events worldwide.
