The Brazilian was the centre of attention at a tournament organised by the World Poker Federation last Saturday. The aim was to “expand the scope of the sport, bringing it closer to great athletes, celebrities and enthusiasts”.

With celebrities, athletes and professional players gathered together, the WPF ( World Poker Federation ) organized, last Saturday (16), a poker championship at the WTC Sheraton, in São Paulo, the same place that hosts the BSOP Millions 2024. And one of the names that was present at the event was Marcelo , former player of Real Madrid and the Brazilian national team. Among the approximately 70 exclusive guests who participated in the tournament and competed for various prizes, Marcelo was the center of attention.
An event that had the support of important poker institutions, such as BSOP , PokerStars , Suprema Poker and H2 Club . On a day marked by competition, entertainment and, above all, an opportunity to reinforce the importance of sport as a sport of strategy and skill.
