Leonardo Cavarge serves as Chief Executive Officer of the World Poker Federation, overseeing the execution of WPF’s global strategy and the operational expansion of its international structure.

As CEO, Leonardo is responsible for transforming WPF’s institutional vision into action. His role connects governance, international coordination and day-to-day management, ensuring that federations, partners and stakeholders operate within a cohesive global framework. Under his leadership, WPF has strengthened its presence across multiple regions and advanced key strategic initiatives aligned with poker’s position within the global mind sports ecosystem.

Leonardo plays a central role in consolidating WPF’s relationships with national federations and supporting their development under shared standards and principles. His work focuses on building long term stability, professional management and international integration for poker through structured representation.

In addition to his role at WPF, Leonardo serves as Continental President of the Americas at the International Mind Sports Association (IMSA), further strengthening the institutional bridge between poker and the international mind sports community.

Leonardo was the Brazilian Poker Champion in 2012, winning the national title at the Brazilian Series of Poker (BSOP). His journey as a player provides first hand understanding of the competitive environment and the realities faced by professionals within the industry.

Beyond poker, Leonardo has a strong background in finance and corporate management. His experience in business strategy, financial structuring and organizational leadership reinforces WPF’s professional standards and long term vision. This combination of competitive achievement and executive expertise strengthens the Federation’s ability to operate with discipline, stability and strategic focus on a global scale.
