Founded on January 28, 2025, as the governing institution of Poker, this inter-associative organization brings together the Dominican Association of Poker Players, the Dominican Association of Poker Employees, and the Dominican Association of Poker Clubs. Its main objective is to develop Poker as a mind sport.

Currently, the federation is focusing all its efforts on achieving official recognition of Poker as a mind sport and promoting public policies for the development of the game.
