Tras dos a\u00f1os como miembro provisional, gracias al aval obtenido por la Federaci\u00f3n Mundial de P\u00f3quer, el deporte ha alcanzado el estatus sin precedentes de miembro permanente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El anuncio se hizo durante una ceremonia realizada por la WPF en el WTC Sheraton de S\u00e3o Paulo, el mismo recinto que acoge el BSOP Millions 2024, el mayor evento de poker en Am\u00e9rica Latina. Ejecutivos de federaciones mundiales y de IMSA estuvieron presentes en el evento y dieron su opini\u00f3n final, tras una reuni\u00f3n, que cambiar\u00e1 el estatus del poker a nivel mundial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El p\u00f3ker se suma ahora a otros deportes mentales, como el ajedrez y los eSports, que ya son reconocidos por la entidad.
