In the 2006 WSOP Main Event he finished 196th of 8,773 entries for $42,882, and in 2010 he made the final table of the WPT Championship at Bellagio, finishing 9th of 353 for $54,378. <sup><a href=\"#source-2\">[2]<\/a><\/sup> Outside poker he works as a film producer, which is how WSOP.com introduced him during the 2014 Big One for One Drop. <sup><a href=\"#source-4\">[4]<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Big_One_for_One_Drop\"><\/span>The Big One for One Drop<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Salomon&#8217;s tournament record is built on the $1,000,000 and \u20ac1,000,000 Big One for One Drop events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2014_fourth_at_the_WSOP\"><\/span>2014: fourth at the WSOP<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 2014 Big One for One Drop drew 42 entries and a prize pool of $37,333,338. Salomon led the final nine after Day 2 with 23,575,000 chips, having taken the lead with a large bluff against Christoph Vogelsang, which he then showed to the table. <sup><a href=\"#source-4\">[4]<\/a><\/sup> He began the final day as chip leader but finished fourth for $2,800,000, while Daniel Colman beat Daniel Negreanu heads-up for the $15,306,668 first prize. <sup><a href=\"#source-3\">[3]<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2016_third_in_Monte_Carlo\"><\/span>2016: third in Monte Carlo<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In October 2016 Salomon reached three-handed play in the \u20ac1,000,000 Monte-Carlo One Drop Extravaganza, a 28-entry field. As the short stack he three-bet all in with queen-jack and was called by Anatoly Gurtovoy&#8217;s ace-queen; a jack on the flop put him ahead, but an ace on the turn sent him out in third place for \u20ac3,000,000, the largest cash of his career. Elton Tsang won the event for \u20ac11,111,111. <sup><a href=\"#source-5\">[5]<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2018_fourth_again\"><\/span>2018: fourth again<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Salomon bagged the Day 1 chip lead of the 2018 Big One for One Drop with 11,445,000. <sup><a href=\"#source-7\">[7]<\/a><\/sup> At the final table of the 27-entry event he moved all in with ace-king of hearts over a call from Fedor Holz, who held pocket tens, and a shove from Byron Kaverman. Salomon flopped two pair, but a ten on the river gave Holz a set and eliminated both players, Salomon in fourth place for $2,840,000. Justin Bonomo won the tournament. In Season 8 of <em>High Stakes Poker<\/em>, broadcast in early 2021, he played $200\/$400\/$800 No-Limit Hold&#8217;em against Tom Dwan, Jean-Robert Bellande and Michael Schwimer, winning pots of $106,800 and $111,400 in one episode before losing a $360,800 pot when Bellande filled up on the river. <sup><a href=\"#source-8\">[8]<\/a><\/sup> He has returned in later seasons at bigger stakes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Season 11, 2023, $200\/$400:<\/strong> a set-over-set cooler in which his fives beat Brandon Steven&#8217;s threes for a $490,500 pot. <sup><a href=\"#source-9\">[9]<\/a><\/sup><\/li>\n<li><strong>Season 14, 2025, $500\/$1,000:<\/strong> an all-in check-raise with six-three suited against Justin Gavri&#8217;s pocket queens; Gavri won the $567,000 pot. <sup><a href=\"#source-10\">[10]<\/a><\/sup><\/li>\n<li><strong>Season 14, 2025:<\/strong> pocket jacks against Peter Wang, chopped after running it twice; an outright win would have made it the largest pot in the show&#8217;s history, at over $1.45 million. Later in the same episode he won a $445,000 pot with pocket kings. <sup><a href=\"#source-11\">[11]<\/a><\/sup><\/li>\n<li><strong>Season 14, 2025:<\/strong> ace-three of clubs against Sam Kiki&#8217;s ace-king for $1,008,500, which PokerNews described as the second largest pot in the show&#8217;s 14-season history at the time.
